Find any image in your archive
in under a second.

“We don't touch your files and don't delete anything -
just find what you're looking for, fast.”

Built in a working fine-art print studio: 30 years of work, 71,000 images indexed, searched every day.

Drag an image in, or capture anything on your screen. iVi finds it in your archive instantly. Locally, on your Mac's own hardware. Nothing ever leaves your machine.

See it work

Two ways to search. One instant answer.

Capture your screen

See a work in an email, a browser, an old layout? Capture any region of your screen and iVi finds the original in your archive.

iVi capture overlay: the screen dims and a crosshair selects a watercolor painting, with live pixel dimensions shown

Drop an image

Drag any image file onto iVi - a client's JPEG, a phone photo of a print - and get the matching file from tens of thousands in your archive.

Built for real archives

Tens of thousands of files per drive. TIFF, PSD-scale scans included. iVi indexes once, then answers in under a second.

Straight to the folder

Found it? Open the file's folder right inside iVi, preview siblings, or reveal in Finder. Your files stay exactly where they are.

Speaks your language

11 languages including full right-to-left support. Made in a working scanning studio, used daily on real client work.

When iVi helps

The client came back after three years.

A customer walks in holding a print and wants a reprint. No file name, no date. Photograph the print, drop it into iVi. The original master on your archive drive appears in seconds.

Which of these is the final version?

A design goes through exports, crops and color fixes, scattered across folders. Find All Versions shows every copy side by side, so you pick the true master: highest resolution, latest state.

They sent it on WhatsApp.

A client sends a compressed low-res image and asks you to print it large. Drop the small file into iVi and find the full-resolution original sitting on your backup drive.

I know I shot this. Somewhere.

Tens of thousands of photos across drives. You remember the image, not the folder. Capture any part of your screen - a website, an old catalog, a PDF - and iVi finds where the file lives.

Your archive never leaves your Mac.

iVi runs entirely on-device: on the Neural Engine on Apple silicon, and on every Mac that runs macOS 15. No cloud, no upload, no account. It reads your images to build its index, and that's all it ever does. It never moves, renames, or deletes a file. Search is read-only, by design.

Local reverse image search, built for macOS

Requires macOS 15 or later. Universal app: Apple silicon and Intel.

Works fully offline. No account, no upload, no cloud. Nothing leaves your Mac.

Search-only by design: iVi never moves, renames or deletes a file.

Questions

Is iVi a reverse image search for Mac?

Yes, for your own files. Google searches the web; iVi searches the drives and folders on your Mac, offline, and never uploads anything.

How fast is it?

Searching an indexed archive returns matches in under a second. Indexing runs once per drive in the background and takes as long as the drive needs: a large mechanical drive can take hours; a fast SSD is much quicker.

Does it work offline?

Completely. iVi needs no internet connection to index or search. Only starting the trial or unlocking goes through the App Store.

What happens when the trial ends?

Indexing and search pause until you unlock iVi for $49.99. Your index stays on your Mac and reopens the moment you do. Nothing is deleted.

Which Macs does it run on?

Any Mac running macOS 15 or later, Apple silicon or Intel.
