iVi is built on a simple principle: your images are yours. Everything iVi does happens on your Mac.

What iVi collects

Nothing. iVi has no accounts, no analytics, no crash reporting SDKs, no tracking, and no advertising. We do not collect, transmit, store, or sell any personal data or any information about your files.

How iVi works with your files

iVi indexes only the drives and folders you explicitly add. The index, compact visual signatures of your images, is stored locally on your Mac and never leaves it. iVi reads your images to build this index; it never modifies, moves, or deletes your files.

Network access

iVi does not send your images or index anywhere. The only network communication is with Apple's App Store for purchases and license validation, handled entirely by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. We never see your payment details.

This website

ivi-search.com is a static site with no cookies, no analytics, and no tracking scripts. Our hosting provider (Vercel) may keep standard, short-lived server logs (such as IP addresses) for security and operational purposes, as is common to all web hosting.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
